As you are probably finding from this blog, getting money for college students really isn't as hard as it looks.
All you have to do is invest a bit of time and effort, and pretty soon you can find great sources for money for college students.
Here is a general guide to finding enough money to pay entirely for your college education:
First, you should FILL OUT THE FAFSA (see my other posts on this), as filling out the FAFSA will entitle you to thousands of dollars in financial aid from the U.S. government, should you be deemed to have financial need. After filling out the FAFSA and getting money for college students through this source of financial aid, next you should apply for as many scholarships as humanly possible! Even winning just one for a thousand dollars will entirely be worth it. That alone would equate to about 100 hours of working as a student.
After winning the scholarships, NOW is the time to get a student job as a source of money for college. By working part time during the school year and getting an internship every summer, you can make up to $15,000 to $20,000 per year to pay for college, which will cover the costs almost completely of any public university.
After getting these jobs, now you should look into student loan options and student loan consolidation, if all of your financial aid needs haven't been met.
Only after this should you consider taking money out of your savings as a mean of paying for college and getting money for your college student.
