More easy to get scholarships

In my last post, I began listing some of the easiest scholarships to get, which I will continue here. This article contains another set of 5 easy to get scholarships out there that you most likely have a chance at winning.

6. National Peace Essay Contest; The United States Institute of Peace offers scholarships and a week’s stay in Washington to students who write the best essays on the United States’ role in preserving peace in the international community. High school students that are good writers have a great shot at winning this scholarship and finding more money for college!

7. AFSA National Scholarship Essay Contest; this is one of the funniest and easiest scholarships to get that I have seen yet. AFSA (Automatic Fire Sprinklers Association) offers $3,000 and $5,000 scholarships to those who can showcase the positive effects of having automatic fire sprinklers.

8. David Letterman Telecommunications Scholarship: Dave Letterman started this scholarship at Ball State University for telecommunication students who have the creativity potential to succeed. To win the scholarship, you have to submit a type of media for your project, and the most creative ones win!

9. Akademos/TextbookX.com Scholarship Contest. This online textbook store offers a $2,500 scholarship to students every spring and fall. Currently, the prize will be given to whichever college student writes the best essay on the topic “What is the future of the printed book”, making this another one of the easiest scholarships to get.

10. Oakseed Ministries International Essay Contest – This essay contest offers $1,000 for the best essay in three different age categories. The 2007 scholarship essay topic dealt with child labor issues that currently exist around the world.
