Some useful scholarships/grants for college students

More places to find money for college students:

In addition to all of the scholarships, grants, etc. I have already discussed on
Money for College Students, I have found some more great resources where college students can find more money to pay for their tuition. I will discuss several of these financial aid resources in this post:

Academic Competitiveness Grant: The Academic Competitiveness Grant is a source of money available to all first year college students who have graduated high school after January 1st, 2006. This grant will provide up to $750 in money to first year college students, and another $1,300 in their second year. Students that are eligible for the Pell Grant, have maintained a 3.0 GPA, and that have completed a rigorous high school program.

Another source of money for college students is the National SMART (Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent) Grant, which is available to third and fourth year college students that have maintained a 3.0 GPA, are eligible for the Pell Grant, and are majoring in physical/life sciences, computer science, mathematics, technology, engineering, or foreign language. This grant awards up to $4,000 in money to eligible college students per year.

If you are eligible for these scholarships/grants as a college student, definitely apply for them as they will save you a significant amount of money in college costs.
