The following article covers another effective way of raising money for college. By participating in the following opportunity, students can raise enough money to pay for half of their college education or even more.
All college students should consider becoming an RA in their dorm, as doing so is a great way of saving money for college; if a student becomes an RA, the university will usually pay for all of their room in board expenses (housing, food, etc.), which at many schools amounts to over ten thousand dollars!
By becoming an RA, a college student may have a bit less free time; for example, you will have to run weekly floor meetings, and there will be some nights where you will be “on duty” in case anything goes wrong on your floor. So if you are the kind that likes to be out partying every night, this position might not be for you. As an RA, a student will also have to enforce all campus housing policies from enforcing noise rules, alcohol policies, etc., even if you are the kind that likes to break them. But in the end, these drawback are probably worth becoming an RA, because as I said, students that become RA’s have all of their housing costs covered by their college. By doing this students will raise a ton of money to help cover their college expenses, so this is definitely an option that you should consider.
