Save money on books in college

Here are some more money tips for college students, and another way in which you can save a few hundred, or even a few thousand, extra dollars to help pay for college.

Another money tip for college students would be to buy ALL of your books USED! Think about how much students in college spend on money for books every quarter. Typical books for classes cost an upwards of one hundred dollars per book, and most students pay over five hundred dollars per quarter/semester on new books in college. If students buy their books used, they can usually get them for half the price or less.

By following this money tip, college students could save $250 or more per quarter/semester, which will mean another $500 to $1,000 per year in money savings for college. Add this up over four years and a college student will save $2,000 to $4,000 dollars by buying their books used.

This money tip won’t save college students a great amount of money, but by following it and all of the other one’s I have mentioned, the savings will start to build up and students will be able to save a considerable amount of money for college.
