What Happened in 2012?

The new year is here, bringing twelve months of EducationUSA programming in Canada to a close. As we look forward to 2013 and another year of exciting education activities, let’s look take a look back at what we accomplished in 2012:

·         Launched a comprehensive guide to U.S. higher education on the new EducationUSA Canada website.
·         Reached hundreds of Canadians in new ways through Facebook and Twitter.
·         Kept prospective students and up to date informed with news about financial aid opportunities and new academic programs at U.S. institutions.
·         Shared the stories of Canadians who have studied in the United States on our new EducationUSA blog and YouTube channel.
·         Attended education fairs and hosted public events with the U.S. Embassy and the U.S. Consulates in cities across Canada to reach prospective students and their counselors.
·         Advised over a hundred Canadian students on undergraduate and graduate opportunities in the United States through phone calls and e-mails.
